Rates
Our rates for Dunedin and Christchurch car rentals include:
- Daily rental (24hour period)
- GST (Goods & Services tax)
- Insurance
- Unlimited kilometres (unless otherwise specified)
- For Dunedin and Christchurch car rentals we offer free pickup/delivery to accommodation, transport terminals and businesses within the Christchurch and Dunedin metropolitan areas during normal business hours (Mon-Fri 8.00am – 5.00pm ). Outside these hours will incur a delivery fee.
- For Dunedin and Christchurch Airport a $25 Airport Fee applies.
Hours
For your convenience we are open every day of the year except Christmas Day.
Vehicle Availability
Although our Dunedin and Christchurch car rentals fleet is subject to availability we will always do our best to provide your preferred vehicle or an equally acceptable alternative. Please note pictures are an example of what is available in each vehicle group.
Driver Qualification
The minimum rental age is 21 years. All intended drivers must present a valid full New Zealand or Overseas Drivers License at the time of rental. There is no charge for additional drivers.
Heavy Trade License is required for some trucks.
Insurance
Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance (including third party and public liability) is included in our rates. An accident damage excess of NZ$1,800 including GST does apply however. This excess may be reduced by purchasing an optional Collision Damage Waiver at the time of rental. Please ask for full details.
Fuel
We provide a full tank of fuel at the commencement of each rental for both Dunedin and Christchurch car rentals. We request you return the vehicle with a full tank. Where this is not convenient we will refill the tank and on charge to you.
Payments
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Bankcard, Mastercard, Amex, Diners), EFTPOS, cash and approved company orders. All rentals are subject to a refundable bond.
One Way Rentals/Relocations
We offer one way Dunedin and Christchurch car rentals for your convenience but these may be subject to a one way fee. In addition vehicles can be positioned on any location in the South Island subject to a suitable fee.
Accessories
We provide a full range of optional equipment including baby and child seats, ski racks and snow chains for both Dunedin and Christchurch car rentals. Individual requirements are catered for so please ask. Trucks come with furniture rugs, ties and sack barrow.
General
All rentals are subject to the full terms and conditions which are detailed in the rental agreement provided to you at the time of rental.
